  • "Still Life in a Circle"
    Think inside the box. Normally designers are called upon to think outside the box. Swedish paperboard manufacturer Iggesund and advertising agency Schindler Parent from Germany asked several leading designers to summon all their creative inspiration to do the opposite - And think inside the box!

    German Illustrator, Designer and Art Director Sebastian Onufszak created a shortfilm about love and hate, about life and death and about lightness and darkness.

    The outcome was "Still Life in a Circle", an abstract, mainly 3D-generated movie which by using video in print is waiting for you on an integrated screen in the box and starts playing right after you opened it.

    We´ve been guest to Sebastian Onufszak and filmed a making of with all participants to give an outline of the project. This was inlcuded in the Blackbox as a DVD and was used for the campaign and diverse social media.

  • "Virtually Real"
    Think inside the box. Normally designers are called upon to think outside the box. Swedish paperboard manufacturer Iggesund and advertising agency Schindler Parent from Germany asked several leading designers to summon all their creative inspiration to do the opposite - And think inside the box!

    Paris based office of Landor Associates faced the challenge to use Invercote paperboard to fill a predefined black box with contents that place stringent demands on the material.

    The outcome was "Virtually Real", a project in which the designers had to imagine to live in a virtual world (which is actually not that far from reality) and create compositions which has been then transferred into the real world by creating and producing over 20.000 paper-cubes consisting of 8 different sides which in turn can be combined in different ways. These cubes has been used to assemble the pictures in reality and get some stunning three dimensional creations.

    We´ve been guest at Landor in Paris and filmed a making of with all participants to give an outline of the project. This was inlcuded in the Blackbox as a DVD and was used for the campaign and diverse social media.

    The idea won gold at the E3 Best of Europe Awards 2011.

  • Laserkatz Artspace
    LASERKATZ ART SPACE is a visual traveling circus, which is based in Innsbruck, Austria. Young and passionate artists from the transalpine region such like Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Slovenia, not fitting into a classic art gallery, get the opportunity to present their creations to the public!

    Hereby the principle of "Beautiful Diversity" is the key to a constant change. Neither date, location or theme follow a strict concept. The event like character, the mix of the exhibits, the location plus the general program show a high entertainment value. The goal is to create a dialogue between visitors and artists, to deal with the subject and achieve a sustainable impression!

    A laser is a narrow beam of energy! In our case the energy of different artists who get together and emerge into the respective LASERKATZ ART SPACE! The Cat, especially the black cat, is an omen for riot and revolt, so the break with conventions. Beyond that the cat is emblematic for a curios character and a kittenish mind. All those qualities can be projected on the LASERKATZ ART SPACE, the exhibitions and the artists!

  • Eastpak Artist Studio
    Easpak asked the Laserkatz Artspace to participate in the Eastpak Artist Studio, an annual opportunity for international Designers to transform a basic Eastpak Backpack into a unique piece of art.

    Laserkatz Artspace in cooperation with austrian fashion designer Lisa Walde created the KatzBag, a still wearable backpack, which looks like the Laserkatz and even has red flashing lasereyes!

    The Eastbags will be shown at Bread & Butter 2012 in Berlin and in the according book.

  • The Combinebox
    "Combinebox" is a modular font-system, created together with Andre Apel from Leipzig. The basic design is taken from the classic font Schwabacher, which was interpretated in an avantgardistic way.

    The result is a box of 30 elements, which can be combined individually, but always keep their formal roots.

    GSW Europe is a fullservice agency serving mainly clients in the area of the pharma-industrie. GSW helps their clients to spread a campaign all over europe and takes care for the local needs, expectations and deteminations you´re faced with doing so.

    Paneuropeanrolloutaemia is part of the "4 Ailments", an image campaign based on thematic microsites on which the problems of this process are shown in a playfull, pictorial and humorous way to show how easy GSW can cure the clients ailments and implement a sucessfull campaign.

    Every slider stands for an issue. By moving the sliders, you can control the intesity of problems which has an impact on the face of your business. In the end, GSW can solve your problems easily, all you have to do is press the button and they´ll contact you immediatly.

  • DAS VIERTE Relaunch
    Advertising campaign for the relaunch of german free-tv channel DAS VIERTE, part of NBC Universal Global Networks. The briefing said, we´ve got a new logo, a new claim and we changed our program from old-fashioned, all-time-classics to realtime-entertainment. We´re younger now, more personal and closer to the people! The scope was to develope a strategy for B2C and B2B, to create a claim for the campaign, actions for print, web and guerilla plus a media-strategy and calculation.

    The idea we had for the campaign was to show different characters in diverse situations in everyday life. The claim for the campaign says, that everyone is able to get nerved in this situations. But that´s just normal, boring and nothing special.

    Wouldn´t it be nice to able to keep being happy, without even think about the situation?! Then you would react special. Then you would be someone special! Someone acting superior without effort is different in a cool way. It makes him attractive and desireable. That´s the impression the people should get of the relaunched DAS VIERTE and the new claim!

    The B2B-Mailing was a white business-shirt and as a label you saw a photo, on which the team of DAS VIERTE stands with their pants dropped. The idea was to show, that they are closer to the people now, even to the advertising clients by just showing (almost) everything and being absolutely honest. The text on the card said, that DAS VIERTE ist sorry, but there is no money for impressing their clients anymore. They invested everything in their new program. So instead of fancy presents, they´re now even sending their last shirt.
